Close to the beach and the island main town of Kerkyra accessible by a bus every half an hour from outside the campsite.  The Karda Grover complex between the site and the beach houses a bar, restaurant and pool and is open all day.  A perfect way to start your adventure around Greece.\n11/09, early welcome meal at the campsite (or we can move this to the following so members are not so tired from the journey)\nCamping Vrachos Kastraki, Thessaly GR8255\n18/09, 3 nights\nPitches with electricity (4amp EHU)\nA guaranteed warm welcome on site especially from Yaris, who is very generous.  The site is in a valley surrounded by mountains and the impressive rock formations that rise out of the plains.  They usually cordon off areas for groups so you will be all together.  There is a good supply of water, although electricity is 4amp.  A perfect location for visiting the Meteora Monasteries, the rising Rock formations with ancient monasteries that cling to the summits.\nDrive 162 km (Apprx 2 hrs 30 mins)\nA welcome meal can be added at this campsite for an extra £45 per couple\nSelf-organised excursion to the Meteora Monasteries\nCamping Hellas, GR8285\n21/09, 7 nights\n(16 amp EHU – Electricity to be paid on arrival)\nA lovely campsite run by an English-speaking brother and sister, again with a generous welcome. The campsite is in a beautiful setting in a 500-year-old olive grove right next to the beach on the Pagasitikos Gulf.  Pitches are allocated together, and the owners are very helpful and understanding with the organisation of gatherings.\nDrive 168 km (appx 2 hrs 30 mins)\nCamping Delphi \n28/9/, 3 nights\nCamping Delphi, nestled at the foot of the ancient slopes of Mount Parnassus, and just 4km from the ancient city of Delphi.  The campsite is simple, yet full of character, with its rugged paths and plenty of olive trees and outstanding views across to the gulf of Corinth.   It’s the perfect base for both history buffs and nature lovers with plenty to see and do in the area including its famous\nThe archaeological site and the Delphi Museum are a short drive away. The campsite can arrange a bus and guide for you.\nCamping Athens, Sterea Hellas\n01/10, 6 nights\nOnly 7km for the centre of Athens with bus transport services to the centre.  All pitches have 16-amp electricity and are of reasonable size.  Public transport is excellent in Athens.  Please note this is a city campsite, and therefore pitches could be small, and the site will be noisier than normal.\nDrive 184km (3 hours)\nCamping Erodios,\n07/10, 5 nights\nCamping Erodios is a hidden gem tucked away along the rugged coastline of the Greek Peloponnese. The site is well maintained to a high standard and offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and embrace the natural beauty of this often-overlooked corner of Greece. There are beautifully arranged spacious pitches, shaded by mature tree and level terrain.
