Welcome to The Van Club
The Van Club is a membership-based community designed for motorhome, campervan, self-build van, bus, and overland vehicle enthusiasts. We organise exclusive events, rallies, and meets that bring together like-minded travellers and explorers who share a passion for life on the road.
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience at our rally and meet sites, which do not provide toilet facilities, each vehicle must meet specific requirements. Every vehicle must be self-propelled and equipped with an onboard toilet, built-in cooking facilities, and a permanent bed. Please note, that we do not accept mattresses placed on the floor; the bed must be a designated, built-in sleeping area, such as one made from sofas or a rock-and-roll bed.
Members are expected to adhere to these guidelines. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in membership revocation, as we prioritise the comfort and convenience of all participants at our events.
Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of joining or renewal.
Membership Types
Founding Memberships: At the launch of the Van Club, we will offer an exclusive opportunity for 250 individuals to become Founding Members. This unique membership tier is priced at £25 and comes with the added benefit of lifetime renewal at the same rate, provided there is no lapse in membership. Founding Members will play a key role in shaping the early days of our club and enjoy this locked-in renewal rate as a reward for their commitment and support from the very start. They will also receive a 10% discount on rally fees and merchandise.
General Membership
A General Membership covers one van and includes two adult members. This membership also extends to minors under the age of 18, who can be included at no additional cost. General Members enjoy access to all club services, events, and activities, making it a great option for families and van enthusiasts alike. Each membership ensures that the primary van and its members are part of the Van Club community, with no hidden fees for additional family members under 18. The cost of the general membership is £35 per van and is subject to an annual review.
Membership Cancellation Policy
Members who join or renew are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, provided they have not utilised any Club Services, including participation in club meets.
To cancel and receive a full refund, you must either cancel through the app or provide written notice to us confirming your decision to cancel your membership.
If you registered at an event where you received a goody bag, a £10 administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
Members will no longer be eligible for member discounts once their membership is terminated. Additionally, members will forfeit their voting rights immediately upon cancellation of their membership

Upon acceptance into membership of The Van Club, I agree to:
To abide by the terms outlined in the Club’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, as well as any related regulations. Copies of these documents are available through the Club’s Membership Department.
To pay any entrance fees and annual subscriptions set by the Council during my membership.
To adhere to the Club’s rules and regulations, follow the Camper’s Code, and uphold the camping standards established by the Club.
The liability of each member is limited to £1, being the amount that each member undertakes to contribute to the assets of the company in the event of its being wound up while he is a member or within one year after he ceases to be a member, for –
- payment of the company’s debts and liabilities contracted before he ceases to be a member,
- payment of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up, and adjustment of the rights of the contributors among themselves
