Grasmere Rally – Great Outdoors, Lake District

A six-day Great Outdoors themed rally in the heart of the Lake District, with walking, cycling, live entertainment and stunning Grasmere scenery.

Join The Van Club for an unforgettable motorhome and campervan rally in Grasmere, right in the heart of the Lake District National Park, for our special Great Outdoors themed rally. Grasmere is one of the most picturesque villages in England, famous for its breathtaking scenery, peaceful lake, and strong links to poet William Wordsworth. With classic slate cottages, cosy pubs, scenic walking routes and iconic local shops - including the famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop - this rally offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and traditional Lakeland charm. Rally Facilities: fresh water, toilets, showers and Elsan disposal available; use of pavilion building including kitchen facilities; spacious rally field with easy access; ideal base for walking and cycling directly from site. What's Planned - The Great Outdoors theme: live entertainment on some evenings in the pavilion, an organised group bike ride, organised group walks and hikes for different ability levels, social evenings and a relaxed community atmosphere, and games and classic Van Club fun. Things to See & Do Nearby: Dove Cottage & Wordsworth Museum, St Oswald's Church & Wordsworth's Grave, walks around Grasmere Lake and nearby Rydal Water, hiking popular peaks including Helm Crag, boating and lakeside picnics, and the famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop.

Dogs are welcome at the rally but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please note that dogs are not permitted inside the hall where the entertainment takes place.
